For the fourth year in a row, our friends at Newport Restaurant Group held a benefit dinner for Sojourner House in honor of International Women’s Day. Guests enjoyed a 4-course meal prepared by four powerhouse female chefs: Chef Jennifer Lewis from Castle Hill Inn, Chef Marissa Hardman from Hemenway’s Restaurant, Chef Marissa Lo from Boat House Waterfront Dining, and Chef Kelly Fernandes from Wooden Pin Baking Co. Stephanie Steed, Wine Director at 22 Bowen’s selected a unique pairing for each course, all from female-led wineries! Elyse Major, the Editor in Chief at Hey Rhody, wrote a review of the night for the publication.
