On Friday, March 8, 2024, Newport Restaurant Group hosted their second annual International Women’s Day Wine Dinner at Avvio Ristorante. They generously donated a percentage of proceeds from this intimate evening to Sojourner House.

Guests enjoyed a 4-course dinner that featured creations from Chef Kat Caine from Avvio, Chef Jennifer Backman from Waterman Grille, Chef Mariana Gonzalez-Trasvina from Bar ‘Cino & La Vecina Taqueria, Chef Marissa Lo from Boathouse Tiverton, and Chef Kate Repko from Foodlove Market.

Stephanie Steed, Wine Director at 22 Bowen’s Wine Bar & Grille, selected a unique pairing for each course, all from female-led wineries!
