At Sojourner House, we offer inclusive and comprehensive services to male and trans-identifying victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking regardless of sexual orientation.

Our RISE Shelter (Respect, Inclusion, Safety, Empowerment) provides temporary emergency housing so male and trans identifying victims of domestic and sexual  violence can reclaim their lives and take the necessary steps to move away from their abuser. During their stay at RISE, clients receive information about permanent and transitional housing, comprehensive case management, domestic and sexual violence education, and referrals.

In addition to our Safe House, Sojourner House also offers male-identifying and trans victims of domestic and sexual violence individual advocacy, education, HIV and Hepatitis C testing, and a weekly support group in Providence.
