9th Annual Sojo Mojoe Breakfast

On Friday, May 31st at 8am, Sojourner House will host its 9th Annual Sojo Mojoe Breakfast at the Providence Marriott Downtown. More than 350 of the state’s leading business people, politicians, and non-profit leaders will gather for the event; which features a moving speaking series and award ceremony. Together, the group will celebrate the power of collective action and discuss the future of victim advocacy and violence prevention in the state of Rhode Island.

All proceeds will benefit the victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking who are supported and empowered by Sojourner House.

For over 45 years, Sojourner House has served thousands of victims and survivors of domestic abuse, sexual violence, and human trafficking. 

Thanks to our supporters, we are able to offer wraparound services such as support groups, emergency shelter, transitional and permanent supportive housing, sexual health advocacy, and emotional support.

We believe that everyone deserves a safe, healthy home, and proudly house all genders.


The mission of Sojourner House is to promote healthy relationships by providing culturally sensitive support, advocacy, housing, and education for victims and survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking; and to effect systems change.
