About the Conference
Sojourner House marks 50 years of service with a day of cross-sector collaboration– bringing together advocates, clinicians, attorneys, law enforcement, and housing leaders to reimagine safety and support for survivors of abuse.
Reimagining Victim Advocacy: A Conference on Housing, Justice & Innovation will be a gathering for people working to prevent intimate partner violence, support survivors, strengthen the laws that govern our safety, and build healthier communities.
Over the course of the day, attendees will have the opportunity to learn from leaders in the field, discuss emerging ideas, and connect with others dedicated to shaping the future of survivor-centered care.

About Sojourner House
Sojourner House is comprehensive victim services agency dedicated to supporting and advocating for victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking. Since 1976, the agency has assisted more than 75,000 individuals in rebuilding their lives after abuse.
Sojourner House clients have access to emergency shelter, transitional and permanent supportive housing, clinical therapy, legal services, support groups, and intensive case management.
Reaching beyond the reactive, Sojourner House is also an affordable housing developer. Over the last five years it has worked to build a portfolio of residential properties that are leased to victims and survivors of abuse. The organization is also focused on violence prevention education and its staff facilitate workshops in both school and professional settings across Rhode Island.
